When I did drink it was a cocktail called a zombie.
White rum
Light rum
Dark rum
Cherry brandy
Pineapple juice
The effect was that you still had rational thinking but nothing below the waist was operational and you only found this out when you tried to walk. When it eventually kicked in it made English optional and you sounded like a washing machine full of marbles
