Two nights ago I felt very cold and had a light fever. Took tylenal and havent had a fever in the last 12+ hours. Yesterday after dinner, my stomach swelled and growled. Had a little diaherra so I took pepto bismol. This morning I felt alot better. I pooped and the stool was close to normal.

Well let's see. Did you eat any meat or seafood? Did you go out? How was your meat done? If you did eat meat or seafood, think, did it look red or unusually raw? I think it sounds like it could be either, depending on what you ate, or if anyone else has stomach flu.

Food Poisoning comes on about 1-2 hours after you eat spoiled or bad food.
It sounds like you have the flu. Regular winter flu
(FWIW, my doctor dismisses the premise of "stomach flu" which is indeed just food poisoning.)

what i stomach flu?? I have always wondered with that term.... it sounds like stomach bug that was going around here...I had one a month of so again with vomit and diaherrah, aches and temperature....it took me around 36hrs to get over it....
So hey...it sounds like stomach bug...food poisoning is a possibility, but its often quite nasty.

sounds like the stomach flu. i don't think food poisoning causes a fever. im glad ur feeling better
