well i could give u a few good tips for if it was in person...since its online...my best suggestion would be to start it off like you would anyone else...or how u would with her in person...but now that you know basic things about her..little by little try going in deeper into her feelings without getting too personal..ask her about family life what other goals she may have..what does she like in a guy..always pay attention to that..and say things supportive..like "i understand"...always keep them running the convo..women love to talk about themselves...and as long as she sees your at least attentive and listening..she'll love u more cuz she'll feel a lot more relieved..try it see how it works..it always has for me..got me closer..if u just know the basics and wont start up a convo she'll see your not a good conversationalist..women love their minds stimulated so..

What do you know about what she likes? That in itself could be the topic of many conversatIons. Personally I love talking about my favorite music, animals, foods, what countries/places I've visited. I also love it when a guy asks me about and tells me his plans for the future, like your career goals and stuff like that. Women secretly love to talk about themselves, so anything works as long as you aren't creepy about it, or excessively nosey.

If its in person? Talk about the obvious, like if you at a bar talk about drinks just to get going, something you both have views or might know about. Use this until you get comfortable.

to get her started talking about her children,,or grand children,,,ask her specifics,,,like music,,,and artist,,,when u talk to her, tell her about what tv shows u saw,,that she mite like,,a movie,,etc...talk about cooking,,if she likes to cook,,then ask her what she is fixing for dinner,,one thing leads to another,,be creative,,in ur questions,,women like to talk,,and esp..about their true likes ..if u know a little about her,,then u should be able to talk about many subjects,,just make a list and creative questions about each subject u would like her to expand on...
