I was in a long term relationship where the sex sort of fizzled out. We managed to hold it together for a while but in the end it just wasn't meant to be and I think the fact that we couldn't keep the sex going was either the first sign or one of the first problems. Depends on how you look at it.
I've learned since that the whole thing was a gargantuan waste of time in many ways. At least I learned from the experience. While I don't think that sex is everything in a relationship, I believe that the sex in a relationship is a telling indicator of how good that relationship really is on a romantic level. I happen to be a very romantic person and so I think it may be more important to me than some.

Also, did you know, that sex encourages the love feeling in women? So when a woman has sex it makes her feel more in love with her partner.
It sort of explains why women who aren't getting enough start to shut down on their partners, doesn't it?

P.S. The best relationship for me also is the best sex. Coincidence? I don't think so. When someone is right for you, they are generally right all the way.

If sex was not a part of the relationship, or isn't going to be it would not be a relationship. Friends is the term for that.

yes, i am in one now. i am grateful for that because he respects me and my decision....waiting until marriage!!!
whats really important in a relationship is communication, trusting each other, honesty, tolerance and much more...

sex isnt anything. as well, i wouldnt want to have "sex". i would want to make love....theres a big difference there.

yes, at my age other things are more important. this is the normal progression of humans and relationships. if I had someone for whom sex was way more important than it is for me, this would be very bad news indeed.

I was with a guy and we never had sex, the relationship only lasted 4 months and he claimed it was because he wasn't ready to be with someone after his ex who cheated on him several YEARS before. I think he dumped me cos I told him I didn't know if I knew how to love another person and that I didn't have sex with him.
