No, I don't wish that at all! There is only One Truth - we can't pull a bunch of books that people wrote and call them the 'inspired' Word of God. Why would we need to read another book when Jesus spoke the words we need to hear? Why listen to anyone other than God? It's ok to read other 'religious' books that speak of what they believe, but there is only one 'inspired Word of God'. That's enough.

There are many versions of The Bible.
Read them all!
Then.............Read the original version of all the Scriptures that God has placed within the heart of man, and know the "Truth" concerning what God has placed within man, that is called the "Soul".
It's an inside job!
"Peace be always with you."

There are THOUSANDS of different versions of the Bible, many of them containing direct contradictions to others! (This has happened on occassion when some fool has taken it upon themself to "fix" the contradictions already inherent in this very thick collection of books).
Bart Ehrman has written (among others) a whole book about how many different "bibles" there are called "Misquoting Jesus"... It's a hoot!

I definitely think all of the Apocrypha should be included. We are calling ourselves Christians but reading only a small part of what the early Christians wrote.
Re Mercedes' comment: 'We can't pull a bunch of books that people wrote and call them the 'inspired' Word of God.'
Yes, we can. That is _precisely_ what the Council of Nicea did in creating the Bible.

I don't understand what you are saying. Theres the Koran, the Book of Mormon, various other religions have "holy books" You can find the "apocrapha" which the Catholics accept, but not the protestants. Then too you can compare various teachings with scripture. What more do you want?

Why? very few ever read the one we have. And fewer still believe what they read. And even fewer than that obey what they read and believe.
Friend: We do not need another Bible, we just need to obey the one we have. It is Gods word!
