I think it's all bs. These people are out to make money, and nothing more. They know that this is a natural trend. They also know the average god-fearing citizen doesn't have the slightest clue what the facts are. Nobody even considers the fact that global warming killed out the saber tooth cats, wooly mammoths, and sloth bears long before humans could make any impact. Humans didn't cause it, aren't going to stop it, and all the prayers to whatever invisible friend they happen to believe in won't make a bit of difference. What do you think?

Global warming is a political buzz...meant to draw attention, votes and money.
The worst hurricane decade on record was the 1930's. The change in global temperature over the last 100 years is +.01 degree.
The Earth runs in cycles of climate... hello! Sounds like an opportunity to me, Al.

It bothers me because I don't like to see animals suffer because of human beings. I'm extremely soft-hearted where animals are concerned, and it may be a natural trend, but I like polar bears. I hate to think of them suffering. (human suffering bothers me as well)

Could be happening, but if it is and the government is serious about it, we should not be going to work at government facilities or corporate facilities if it is not necessary. The don't need all those people to do the work that is being done. It is pure welfare for people that really have nothing extra to offer at those workplaces. Where I worked 10% of the people could have done all the work! Nice experience for those who just coasted, but they were using energy and burning fuels etc to get there.

People should only live in houses that are big enough to lodge them, not huge heatable mansions. It is all hypocracy. They say...well I am using solar heat, but if they are, they are still heating and there was energy, more than their fair share, used to make them extra comfy. Something is not right. But animal extinction is probably something we should pay attention to somehow.

These "green" people should not throw so many stones at the populous !

It's happened before and they are still here. The earth cycles along with and because of certain cosmic events. This is nothing new. All the planets in our solar system are heating up, flipping poles and growing atmospheres. Even our moon has developed an atmosphere. Truthfully, it is all natural phenomena and the animals have always survived it better than humans. We are the ones to worry about. I do worry and care about the animals. But, if we can't take care of ourselves in catastrophic events, how can we care for the animals.

I don't believe in people taking advantage of the mass hysteria, but I've seen enough evidence to believe that we are contributing somewhat to global warming.

Humans killed off the mammoths, giant sloths and other large mammals, leading to the extinction of the sabre-toothed tiger and dire wolf.

I suppose you didn't see the polar bears drowning last winter.

I just love reading codswollop from uninformed politically-motivated messengers.

I regard these commercials the same way I regard most politically-motivated stuff about global warning: *snooze*

The sad thing is, you even have to be careful when reading the reports of scientists, because some of them are not above presenting skewed data.

globel warming is a falsehood

the very same scientists who claim now there is globel warming are the same ones who perdicted Canada and the upper great lakes would be a FROZEN wasteland by the year
2010............

SO what that tell you.

and i for one since i was a child this is the first year we have had tempatures in the 80's during summer...
its always in the mid 60's or low 70's

when i was a child it was always in the 80's in summer

only difference i ever noticed was the seasons are not sure any more
it maybe called summer..but feel like fall
it maybe fall and feel like summer
it may be winter and feel like spring
and it may be spring and feel like winter

the seasons are never set at a appointed time any more
but it sure isnt warmer then in past years....
and this drought thing isnt something new....
just new in a different places...........

i live on the Mid East Coast region for reference
