Just like in the US, all places have different rules. However, it tends to be more consistent in Canada AND is a rule throughout a province. (In the US it can vary club to club and county to county). Most Canadian clubs serve alcohol, and you have to be of drinking age to be in a club that serves alcohol. Most provinces the drinking age it 19, except Quebec and Alberta that are 18. So if you are 17, you will not be allowed in, while your boyfriend is old enough across Canada.

Niagara falls is in the province of Ontario, the legal drinking and gambling age in Ontario is 19 and that also applies to entering a strip club. I don't understand why it differs by province to be honest, its 18 in Quebec, Manitoba and Alberta, should just make it a standard 18 across Canada, remove the confusion.

Not in Saskatchewan. Here the government has decided that naked women, customers and alcohol don't mix so strip clubs cannot serve booze, not too many stay open for very long...
