I realize that most atheists will say that there's no such thing, but I also know that everyone is different, so I'm not looking for any unified answer. That being said, what do you (personally), as an atheist, think about ghosts, spirits, residual energies, auras, etc?

Your thoughts on chi would be interesting as well.

Well said, J.P. You have the best answer so far, in my opinion. To completely ignore possibilities because they do not adhere to one's beliefs or level of understanding would be the same as burying one's head in the sand.

Ghosts and spirits to me are nonsense. Energies... if it doesn't come out of a wall socket, it's not for me. Auras? Sure, as special effects on film, but that's it. Chi, I can dig it, as it can be defined as a mental focus of sorts.

spirits and ghosts go unnoticed by espeacially athiest because athiest lack sensitivity, awareness and the well in which they live is so deep that they neither can smell see or feel the real worlds.

I think that the field of parapsychology is a fringe science. However, dedicated researchers use the scientific method -- they look at existing knowledge, question, hypothesize, test, report results, and continue the cycle.
At one point, psychology was little different.
Let's give the genuine researchers a little slack -- if they do quantify something, it'll be a major change of scientific perspective. There have, for example, been some interesting results in the field of Psi research that have been repeatably demonstrated.
For now, ultimately, I withhold judgement. I neither believe nor disbelieve these things. I wait for quantifiable evidence.

Atheists suck. Frankly, if atheists don't believe in anything, then why keep on living? If life's ultimate purpose is death, death without an afterlife, what's it worth living for? In conclusion, there are no atheists, just stupid people who worship themselves as god.

Well, I've been an atheist almost my entire life, and I have also believe in spirits and things that go bump in the night my whole life. It could certainly be from all of the horror movies I watched as it kid, as I don't have a logical explanation for how they could exist but God doesn't. But, I have had a lot of weird stuff happen in my house(s) and have seen a lot of things I can't explain. Then again, maybe I'm just a wuss.

Personally I don't believe in such things. Now, if some empirical proof were offered of the existence of such then I would examine that and adjust my views accordingly.

Depends on who you ask.
I grew up with what most would call "ghosts." It was common enough to be normal for me. I didn't claim that they were spirits or the undead, I just knew they were there and didn't know what they were. For all I know, it could have been fuzzy reception from another universe.
