The Greek term for Faith is "pistis" and it literally means, "Fully persuaded." I don't like the word simple, but I don't think faith needs to be complicated. What are you fully persuaded about? That is what you have faith in. Yeah, I guess it is kind of simple at that.

Yes it is. All Jesus asks of us is to 'believe'. If we believe in Him then we will want to get to know Him. So we start studying His Word and learning the 'mind of God'. When we see how good His teachings are and how it makes our life so much better, we 'pick up our cross and follow Him'. Walking with Jesus is easy - you should try it. He loves you and wants you to be one of his disciples. It's simple: When you believe in Him - believe that He is the Son of God, you ask him into your heart as your Lord and Savior. He will look into your heart to see that you mean what you say. If you are being truthful, He will seal you with the Holy Spirit of God (the Spirit of Christ Jesus)..... you will be his for all eternity. It is my prayer that you will give this some thought. Blessings.

Faith is for the ones wanting to know Jesus. If you don't want to know, then what good would faith be to you.? Is your question a responsible question or are you being funny and trying to prove you are athsist? Faith is for anyone that truly believes and wants a relationship with God.

Sure it's simple.
Simply say a magic ritual and you're saved.
Simply agree that anyone who doesn't think the way you do is going to hell.
Simply admit that empirical evidence means nothing at all.
Simply ignore that what is sacred has been in the hands of MAN for over 3000 years, and somehow believe that is was never perverted for his selfish means, not a single word.
Simply forget about all the questions in your mind and let someone else decide the answers for you.
Sure it's simple.

I remember an old quote:
"all that is required is to simply believe"
Yes, faith does not cost us anything nor require an immediate or huge change in our life.
The Lord has an large amount of patience, we only need to keep prayer in our life.

No, real faith is not that simple. Hey, here is a link to a site that talks about real faith, and I like his ideas:
Real Faith
http://www.freeread.com/archives/943.php
Quoting:
Those who boast of great religious faith remind me a lot of a neophyte in a multi-level marketing program. When entering the program they are pumped full of zeal by various distributors. I have met many of those individuals who think they are going to make a million dollars or so in the next year and they have unshakable faith that this will happen. But sooner or later hard facts and reality hits them and they realize that to be even moderately successful they will have to devote all their extra energies and efforts to this "part time" business. When faced with this hard fact over ninety per cent lose interest and drop away. Often, I have met one of these individuals at a later time and asked how their venture was going. Generally, they want to change the subject.
(end quote)
Check it out. Real faith is not simple belief founded on nothing.

Everybody has some faith.
For example, I have faith that the chair I am sitting in won't crash to the floor, causing me to fall and crack my head on my desk.
If I didn't have that faith, I wouldn't be sitting in the chair.

If it's being described as simple than obviously it must be simple. However, simplicity doesn't take away from its value as faith.
