Mine is a German Shepherd, what's yours?

For me it's a tie between a German Shepherd dog and an American Pit Bull Terrier.
Both are strong intelligent breeds that with good training and socialization can be some of the best pets ever.
I've owned both (grew up with a GSD and owned one that passed, currently own an APBT) and I just love their personalities which are very different with each breed.
I have three dogs, two are mixes with neither GSD nor APBT in the mix, and I've been offered a few GSD's that are from great pedigrees and the appearance and personality type that I would LOVE to own, but I am very attached to my three rescues and until they pass, there isn't room for one more!

definatly a rottweiler because hes strong powerfull and big. he is also good looking and is a good gaurd dog

German shepherd cause they are easy to train ands thats the best dog to have plus they are great for protection and they are loyal and buetiful dogs also.

I like mixed breeds. I'll probably say my favorite mix is a husky/mastiff mix. I love big dogs, something to tackle and play with and if you are a dominant owner they learn to respect you. The husky temperament is my favorite but the huge mastiff jumping on your lap and trying to cuddle is the cutest thing! It is a perfect combination, some arn't as pretty to look at but others dont have that saggy mastiff skin, nor do they look too spitz-ey. They also have one blue eye and one brown, too perfect!

Golden retriever because they are so people friendly, animal friendly and easy to train, not to mention great looking.

I LOVE STANDARD POODLES!!!!
Because: 1. Protection 2. Beautiful 3. And their temparment is through the roof awesome! They think that they are lap dogs, and can be great therapy dogs. They also are very alert to every noise that they hear, so they are great guard dogs.

Mine is the GSD. The reason is because I think they are gorgeous and I like having an intelligent, problem solving dog.

I love the American Bulldog....They are gentle giants. They are smart and loyal. what else can you ask for?
