I am a dork when it comes to anything to do with computers, so please excuse my question.
The year has changed, so I don't need the Library to open showing the "Daily Text" page as there is nothing there now.
I can't for the life of me remember how to change the settings so that the opening page should be the "Index" or "Search" like I did last year January. (Does this make any sense??)
Please help, I've been fiddling for the past hour.

As I said- I AM a dork! I was there but I don't know why I didn't see the "Initial View" at the bottom... it must be the wafts of vodka coming from the next room...

Hey- I just checked the dictionary, and yeah one form of the word "dork" is offensive. Where I come from it isn't.
Sorry. At least I used it on myself!!!

Uh. never tried it. Sit tight for a bit. let me noodle around with it.

OK It's simple.
Hit F2. You'll get a pop-up window that says "properties for library" At the bottom of the box you'll see something that says "initial view" just hit the down arrow and pick "search".

There should be something in the instructions to help. If you go to the preferences or options menu you should find the answer.
By the way, you might not want to use the word Dork, it is um, crude. I found out the hard way.

File > Properties
click on Application Tab
at the bottom that you'll see "Inital View"
just arrow down to what you want to see first !

True Line, fortunate for me I have a Copy of 07 Lib. Brothers at Bethel are SOOOO generous to me...Haha..
The Format is Awesome..In search the section is " Highlighted" at to what you looking for..easy as apple pie. .
