Returns that include the following forms cannot be filed until Feb. 11, 2008:
Schedule 2, Form 1040A, Child and Dependent Care Expenses for Form 1040A Filers.


this is off of the irs web site , it does not state that form 2441Child and Dependent Care Expenses for 1040 tax filers will be delayed ., so my question is if i file a 1040 rather than a 1040a along with form 2441 will their be a delay.

If you file a 1040 with child care expenses, you should be OK and not have a delay. Apparently the reprogramming for that has been completed.
