What is the diifference between HD and digital ?

I own 2 newer tv sets one is HD/DTV the other is regular.

Why can I not get a good signal w/ the HD set ?

Don't you think they ought to be able to produce a good clear HD signal before the conversion is implemented ?????

Yes, with a converter box you should be able to get off-the-air digital channels

Digital means the signal was digitized and compressed before being transmitted. HD means it has an HD resolution (720p, 1080i, or 1080p)

For a better signal, Get a better antenna or point to the correct direction (see www.antennaweb.org )

in case you have a cable service such as Comcast, Cox or Time Warner, you will not might desire to purchase a converter field. the same is going for satellite tv for pc subscribers. in case you have rabbit ears or an exterior antenna put in, then you definately might desire a converter field. The digital transition has not something to do with cable, so it shouldn't resolve the project of human beings stealing it.
