I don't think so. Sex can be "bad" if you're not ready for it, you're too young, just having sex to be liked, or not having safe sex. I think if you're mature about it then that's fine. Some people are very sexual and comfortable having sex, no strings attached. Others believe it's something that should only be shared b/t two loving adults. Personally, as long as your safe and no one gets hurt (emotionally or physically) then do what you want....

From a relgious standpoint, sex before marriage is frowned upon to say the least. I won't get into a religious discussion.

From a secular standpoint, sex before marriage is much less critical.

From my viewpoint, have sex with whomeever, whenever you feel that it builds on your relationship. If you feel that its beneficial for your relationship go for it. Also, when your prepared to deal with the consequences of sex (good or bad), then it is not bad.

I am not married and I have had sexual intercourse with women (not many) . I don't regret having sex before marriage, but I regret that the relationships themselves were not more solid before we had sex. When it came down to it, the sex wasn't enough to keep my relationships going longer.

My little piece of advice....regarding premarital sex, make sure you are really into the person (and they into you) when you begin a sexual relationship, the mutual satisfaction you both with receive will do wonders for your life. Don't have sex with someone just to say to that you are having sex, even to yourself. Have sex because you really feel that it is building on your relationship.

I only wish that I had a good man in my life to find this out with, you have to do what is right for you there are a lot of things involved, just because you turn 18 doesn't mean that you are suddenly going to get married, and you may not want to keep it to your self forever you may want to share it or you may not, bad, no not bad, but should all do it no not that either

If you want the truth this is the truth... The bible says that sex before marriage is a sin. So yes sex before marriage is a sin which means it is bad but most people still do it anyway and I am guilty of doing this! As a warning to you, my distant friend, "Be ready to suffer the consequences of all the decisions you make in life!!!" Some consequences are good if you make the right choices and some consenquences are bad if you make the wrong choices but whatever you sow you will reap. Can't nobody judge you because no one is perfect! The only one you must answer to is GOD himself for all that you do.

In my opinion, if you're going to give your body to someone you should make sure he's committed to you and you're committed to him. It's only fair to both of you. You don't want to sell yourself short. The only way to be really sure of that is marriage in my opinion. People who love each other should be willing to wait.

I don't think it's that big of a deal if you love the person. But if it's just a one night stand, well that's called being a slut

It's a sin but most of us do it anyway.

No, if you are both of age, and are or intend on practicing safe sex i think it is great, think of it this way, what if you waited and found out he was a terrible lover, or has a small**** or could not give you an orgasm???
