I Dont know why, and it had always done this. I find it really weird and have only met one other person whos face goes numb when they drink? why.
And its all alcohol, id say, mostly with beer.

lol, well it happens once im starting to get drunk, but once im actually drunk i dont even notice it anymore.
And it has no effect on me other-wise and i rarely get hung over!

This is most likely an allergic reaction to yeast. Since it is mostly beer, hops, malt or barley could be the culprit as well. I wouldn't drink anymore if it bothers you. I have a friend who breaks out in red, splotchy hives when he drinks. After his first beer is gone, so are the hives. He is allergic to barley.

Im not sure but if you are taking Benadryl as well as drinking that can cause numbness...but if not my best advice is see a doctor...
