Not unless they are part of your business. If they are a business expense then, yes. Otherwise, no.

Are you blind and your dog is a your eyes, if so maybe, but not if your pets are just pets.

Do they have a social security number or do they help you make the money you are earning. Junkyard guard dogs are deductible since they are a security system.
