well, since it's the job of the thumbs down fairies to make people sad, and most of us are generally happier during the holidays they have to work extra hard to off-set all that happiness...

SSSh, girl, now you've done it! I fear it will get worse as the night goes on...or day, as the case may be. It's still 2007 where I am.
