who die tonight from a drunk driver? I hope not. if you are going out... wear your seatbelts and be very careful. if you are drinking... make sure you have a designated driver or call a cab. It may just save your life or someone elses.

other than that... have fun. and happy new year!!

I am staying at home.... Icy roads and drunk drivers used to sound like an exciting way to spend a night but alas I must be getting old as it doesn't sound nearly as good at 30+ as it did in my early 20's...

I am however taking bets in regards to my north pasture fence on the curve of the highway... What time will it get taken out? 2001--12:38am drunk driver, 2002-- 1:14 am drunk driver, 2003-- 12:14 am drunk driver, 2004-- the fence survived, 2005-- 2:37 am drunk driver, 2006-- (the most spectacular so far) 12:56 am the first drunk driver went through 1:08 the second drunk driver went through and hit the first...

Buys in is a quarter the closest to the exact time without going over wins the pot... LOL

I'm staying in.. and everyone who enters my house is not leaving my house until tomorrow unless there is absolutely no alcohol in their systems, or they have a completely sober driver. The keys go in a lock.

Thanks.. Good luck to you as well. Hopefully some people read this and decide not to drink too much tonight. 2 is a good limit for those who drive.
