i made plans to see gogol bordello with this hot dude and he has his kid so his ex can go out and his folks are giving him trouble for asking them to babysit.i'm disappointed...should i still go to the show or should i scalp my tix and go party with my friends?either way i won't be with him and i'm upset.also should i ask my babysitter to watch his kid too?

his folks laid some guilt on him and when i told him i was gonna scalp my tix he seemed to feel bad plus our kids haven't met yet and the babysitter shouldn't be the one doing introductions

Live and learn. I think the idea of asking your babysitter to watch both kids is an excellent compromise. Pay her a few extra dollars and I am sure she will be OK with it. If not - go out anyway. It doesn't sound like you have a long term relationship with this guy yet. New Years is a crappy time to be alone feeling sorry for yourself. Have fun!
