Omg! this happened to my bird before for now keep a napkin with tape on it and place it on both wings to ease the bleeding as bad, and take it to the vet right away!

I noticed that you posted 4 hours ago. Hopefully by this time, if you haven't gotten the bird some help, you have put either flour or corn starch on the bleeding to get it stopped. Someone didn't know what they were doing, and clipped the wings too short.

Well yes if you clip them too short,
and if you do clip them too short then immediately contact your nearest bird vet because if you let the bird bleed too long it could kill it because you letting the bird lose too much blood,And clearly most birds don't have very much blood.

They are like a dog's (or your) toenails if you cut them to short they bleed if not then no they dont even really feel it

Put flower on the end of the tip and it will stop soon (works with dog's nails)

They should not bleed unless it is cut too short. Clipping the wings is like clipping toe nails. You should call them back! Good Luck and Happy New Years!

I would tak him back. They probably got the actual wing, not the feather

Now they should not bleed. The poor birds feather were clipped much to short! They may have to be pulled, or it may stop on it's own. Hopefully not all the feathers are bleeding. Call your Vet.

Only if one of its blood feathers is cut too short.
It should stop bleeding on its own.
If it hasn't stopped after half an hour, take it to a vet and he should be able to spray something on it to stop it bleeding.
