I'm hunting on the internet for a Low C Bass Clarinet but I have yet gotten anything to tell me how it comes apart. Does anyone know if this is even possible for a low C?

Yeah they do...I've seen a lot of them recently, actually, but I'm not sure of which company makes them...I really can't remember.

Most professional level bass clarinets (anything with a low C will be professional level) come in 5 or 6 piece. A few of the older instruments were one piece but they're rare now. When a one piece cracks, it's cracked; when a five piece cracks, that part can be replaced. ☺

If you're in the right price range - the Selmer Paris, Buffet, and Leblanc France models are 5-piece instruments. Some of the older Leblanc Noblet models were 5-piece.

I don't think I've ever seen an ABS/plastic in 5-piece or with a low C.

I haven't played a bass clarinet for years but the last time I did it came apart in the following way: bell, body, gooseneck, mouthpiece... The body was "pegged" together in the middle and did not come apart...
