The Town Car is build on a modified Grand Marquis/Crown Vic platform. The difference is a few extra inches of rear leg room.
Having owned all 3, I have to say the Grand Marquis was my favorite. It was almost as plush as the Town Car, but much less expensive to maintain. Also Trac-lock beats Traction Control any day of the week.

they are in reality an analogous motor vehicle. the proportion an analogous chassis, motor, transmission and maximum considerable factors. The Lincoln has a distinctive suspension device. The Licoln is likewise geared up with greater valuable properties. I desire the look of the Lincoln, whether i think of as new autos they are surprisingly overpriced for what you definitely get in terms of valuable properties and high quality. $50k for a city motor vehicle? Gimme a wreck.

who are you and what planet are you from? they have always shared pretty much everything for the last 3 to 4 decades sorry but this is not new news. They have the same engine and drive train and share a lot of other components and you know why? because they are both made by Ford.

They're rebadges of eachother. Instead of developing three different cars for three different brands (Ford, Mercury, Lincoln Ford developed one car and changed the grille twice and declared it to be three cars. This is known as re-badging. Be-badging is partially got GM, Ford, and Chrysler in to a lot of financial trouble.
