we just got a new wii, but i don't know how to change the tv input so we can use it. we've never had a playstation, or xbox like device so simple it down. haha. thanks.

i turn on the tv, the vcr and the wii and a blue screen shows up, in the background i can see my wii screen, but it's hardly visible, being all blue and moving. the tv is plugged into the vcr, and it works if we put a movie in, the wii is plugged into the vcr, and it turns on fine.

help!

It depends on the TV.

Often there is an "input" or "video" or "source" button on the remote control of TV's. Press it until it cycles through to the one you need.

If you are going through the VCR, often there is a "TV/VCR" button. On a few VCR's you select a channel that is below channel 2 and it will display "L" or something.

Disconnect your VCR and connect the Wii directly to the TV at the same port. The output of the Wii may be copy preotected, so connecting it through the VCR may not work.

Some TVs have multiple inputs, if that is the case, keep the VCR connected, and connect the Wii to a different port.

There is usually a button on your remote control for the tv labled Input, or Input select. Make sure that the cables are plugged in snug, and hit the input button a few times.
