something with no salt, and something you always add lots of salt to..........tomatoes
the acid in the tomatoes should offset saltlyness
if it really needs to be saved ,you could cook some potatoes in it to remove some salt, but to be worthwhile ,it would need to be a large batch of dip your trying to save.

This will work for anything that is too salty. Finely dice some potatoes and then boil them down. Add them to your dip and the salty flavor will disappear. Sour cream might work but the potatoes will definitely absorb the excess salt. I've used this trick more times than once. Let us know how it turns out! In the form of a question of course. :)

Peel and cut a large potato in half and add. It will absorb the extra salt!

first of all,
you should NEVER put a dip in a slow cooker.
it ruins the flavor instead of enhancing it.
who wants smokey beans? not me.
second of all, to fix a salty bean dip, just add a tablespoon of sugar. it won't make it sweet, just deliciously devilish ;)
