Can anyone offer advise on how to get a PDF form (Job application) converted to edit (fill in) in Microsoft Works. I know it can be converted into Microsoft Word and then you can fill it out, however my laptop doesn't have 'Word' it has 'Microsoft Works'. The free downloadable converters are all for converting to word.

A friend has converted the document for me into word but we are messed up as his laptop will not load disks for my printer and he is currently 600 mles from his own. Equally he cannot e-mail me the converted form as it is in word so my laptop will not read the e-mail etc. etc.

Any ideas please. I do not want just to print the forms and write them out by hand, it's just nor professional enough! - Thanks

If your friend has already saved the pdf form as a Word document, might I suggest that you download OpenOffice, a free Office Suite that is compatible with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

You will then be able to open the file on your own computer, edit it how you wish, and then re-save it.

One more idea, you may try a "virtual printer",
first convert pdf file to pictures, such as .jpg, .bmp ...
then edit the pictures and fill out what you need

for virtual printer tools, search keywords: virtual printer
