Does EVERYTHING require a maker or NOT EVERYTHING requires a maker?

If EVERYTHING requires a maker, then God does too require a maker.

If NOT EVERYTHING requires a maker, then LIFE itself may not require a maker.

Or will you say "EVERYTHING BUT GOD" ? Remember that ther phrase "EVERYTHING BUT.." is the same as "NOT EVERYTHING".

Um... science tells us that matter is not "CREATED" at all, it is constant and has always existed in some form or another. This is more an argument for atheism than theism.

And no, the "universe does NOT have to have a maker". You really think existence of X= proof invisible sky deity zapped X into existence?

merely academia states that for the time of the absence of evidence of the life of a few thing it is going to be deemed to no longer exist till verifiable evidence is chanced on - subsequently god is held to no longer exist pending some variety of verifiable data. there is not any longer one single point out of Jesus in the comprehensive Roman checklist - it relatively is suited - no longer one!!! on the comparable time as he strengthen into meant to have been around there have been extremely some Jews claiming to be the messiah - all of whom are nicely recorded!! He strengthen into meant to have been a great difficulty to the Romans and produced stunning miracles yet nevertheless no longer one present day checklist? Even the bible mentions of him like quite a few different references weren't written till some years after his meant death!! Pilot is recorded in the Roman checklist as a particularly lack luster guy yet no point out of a Jesus, an ordeal or crucifixion that would desire to unquestionably have been used to make him look brighter!! At superb he strengthen into an amalgam of those others!! The Roman Emperor Constantine produced the bible and he strengthen right into a pagan no longer god!!! He additionally prepared Christianity into the Holly Roman Catholic Church!! no longer in Israel or any of the international locations of meant foundation yet entirely Italian!! no longer one word of it relatively is present day with the era and strengthen into no longer written till some years after the era the tale is desperate in!! What a ask your self comprehensive disinformation and deception marketing campaign he waged against his Christian enemies - so stable in actuality that Christians are nevertheless following the deception to this present day!!! the 1st guy or woman to offer a shred of verifiable data for God will strengthen into international nicely-primary and mega wealthy!! Ain't occurred yet and it in no way will!!

We don't claim that matter created itself.

There is no reason to believe that all the matter in the universe hasn't always existed in one form or another.

We are actually making it easier, because we don't claim that there is a magical, invisible, supernatural BEING (that created itself on it's own) that magically "poofed" everything into existence using NO pre-existing materials.

(And the "every painting has a painter" is not a good argument.)

The conservation of energy and matter which is a law in thermodynamics - applies to after the BB. The laws of physics did not exist "Pre" BB.

What you`re doing is taking things that are within a set "Law of thermodynamics" and applying it to a set as a whole. You cant do that. According to set theory a set can be a subset of itself but a set can never be a member of itself. The laws of thermodynamics came into existence through the expansion of space time. Its fallacious reasoning to take those laws and apply it to a set of which it is a member.

The Universe is the set of all things - everything that exist. Thermodynamics is a set within the Universe. It does not follow that the beginning of the Universe follows the same laws as things within the Universe.

If you can believe in an eternal god why is it difficult for you to comprehend eternal matter and eternal energy? Energy is neither created nor destroyed. This is the Law of Conservation of Energy. Physics has proven that it holds and has held for all eternity.

My not believing in god actually has nothing to do with science. I just don't believe in god(s)

Right, matter and energy are neither created nor destroyed... so there's no point in arguing that they must have had a creator.

It's quite a big assumption to think that A god, and more specifically, YOUR god, "made" the Big Bang.
