that is based on when God finished Creation instead of the currently used Roman calendar, which is based on Roman gods/goddesses and the various rulers of Rome? I mean, it isn't like Jesus didn't have a calendar back then. If you really follow Jesus and believe in the God that Jesus said to worship, shouldn't you be using God's calendar instead of Caesar's? Here's a link to it, if you didn't know it existed. http://www.jewfaq.org/current.htm

Ronnie, I was trying to avoid pointing this out as many people already know this, but no, BC and AD are not really based on Jesus' birth. If they were, then NEW YEARS DAY would be Jesus' birthday, not some day in the last month of the year. Also, no one has a birthday or year for Jesus. There are only estimates that range from 6 BCE to 7 CE, and most put his birthday in September, not December.

Billy, I'm not sure where you get your biblical knowledge, but it certainly isn't from the bible. Everyone in Jesus' family tree from David to him was Jewish. Also, you need to revisit the definitions of Jew and Gentile.
