Where is your mother? How old are you? If you are in school please talk to a counsler. We at yahoo answers do not have all the details, but care about individuals who get abused. So if it is an ongoing problem, please talk to someone. Don't give up. I wil pray for you to be safe!!!!!

oh my gosh!! go to an adult right away!!! like asap!! NO ONE deserves to be treated that way. does he drink? a lot of alcoholics tend to have a temper. He didn't beat you yet. But it sounds like he will if you don't get him help right now!!! Go see a school counselor or pick one of your favorite teachers to talk to. No matter who you are, what you look like, how you act, it shouldn't give someone the right to beat you, or even call you names like that. Thats horrible. Please talk to someone and get some help. Can you stay with another reliative? Grandparents? Aunts/uncles? A friend even? Especially if he does this a lot. If someone did that to me, even if it was my dad (thank God my dad is so sweet), I would smack them across the face, and if that made matters worse, RUN!! Sometimes if they are uncontrollable like that, you can yell really loud, and smack them, then they get knocked out of it. Not always though.
I would really consider talking to someone. If that ever happens again, run outside to a neighbors house, so they can see whats going on, your dad would be less likely to do anything to you if people are around. Good luck, hope things get better!
If you need any other advice or help, just email me!!

Has he hit you before? why did he take your money? Have you spoken with anyone about this before. If this is recurring, you need to speak to someone. School counselor, mom if she's available, the police, and other adults.

well first off, DONT GIVE AN ATTITUDE!!
this "incident" depends on WHAT it was that u 2 were arguing about. if it gets TOO physical to the point where you're SCARED of him then u NEED to talk to a counselor[[if ur in high school, they have some there]] im in a semi-same situation, but in that case its MY fault because i tend to yell and scream at my mom waaayyy too much wen she asks for me to do something.
my advice, do what he tells you to[[if its chore related..clean ur room...wash dishes..etc]] without him telling you more than 2 times, if u need to talk to someone, im sure i can help

No offense, but you're the problem. Don't disrespect them. Don't talk to them rudely, disobey...If they say something, or do something you don't like, tolerate it. It shows maturity.

Did you ever stop to think that your talking to him with attitude is what provoked him to speak ugly to you. Why not be a peacemaker and tell him you are sorry for speaking to him the way you did and show your family you are grateful for the things they do for you. Hate is awfully strong and brings you down not the other person.

If you have another grown-up you can talk to tell them about it. I would also suggest to go to the police. It is not right for him to do that and don't worry about him getting into trouble.
If you don't tell anyone he will see he can get away with it and keep doing it. That is not a situation you want to be stuck in.
If you report it to the police they might order him to get help maybe take classes or see a psychiatrist.
Good luck! Make sure to tell someone right now!!!
