Nothing but the shame and lonliness for doing it.

I'm assuming youre asking this question to imply that Christians use antiquated methods of punishment...

1. Mankind has used cruel and unusual punishment, fought wars with eachother throughout history and even today. To imply that Christians are barbaric and have been the only ones guilty of these methods is ludicrous.

2. Christians, like all others, are human, and thus imperfect. God expects us to sin, but he also expects us to make ourselves better people, love one another as best we can, and do good unto the world. He also expects us to atone for sin.

As far as what 99.9% of all people, Christians included , would prefer I'm thinking is a court of law vs stoning, unless youre Lorena Bobbitt of course...

I an no longer religious yet i'm no longer precisely an atheist. i'm going to confess that there could be a god yet possibly no longer as we expect of of a god. he or she could desire to be way distinctive , perchance threes a god devoid of heaven or hell. And or possibly there is not any judgment or policies to stay with. perchance god does not exist anymore. Heck if i understand. perchance there is not any god. i became no longer raised in a spiritual kinfolk , i do no longer understand even my very own mothers and fathers own ideals they do no longer talk plenty approximately god so i could say they are very simular to me. i could supply a baby of mine or the different individual to unfastened will to ask questions , do learn , and make there own decision an analogous way my mothers and fathers gave me the main ideas-blowing to do precisely an analogous factor. i could additionally supply anybody an analogous unfastened will. as long as no person is being injury and no crimes are being dedicated all religions are respected with the help of myself.

Jesus never stoned anyone. He wasn't too crazy about hypocrites, though. As to adultery...it comes with it's own set of "appropriate punishments" right here on earth. Thanks for listening....Be Blessed!

I'm not an atheist unbeliever. I believe in atheism. I believe stoning is fine. Something everyone can get into.
