I'm looking for places mainly in Georgia, but will camp in Florida, too. I would love to find a place that you don't have to be right next to people when you camp. I hate the whole camp "sites" where nothing but a thin row of trees are seperating you and the other hundreds of campers. I guess I'm looking for something more like "wilderness" camping. Know of anything? Preferably in the Georgia mountains or Florida springs.

I have never camped in the state of Georgia, but I have camped all over the state of Florida. My favorite place to camp happens to be on a spring fed river, and I usually pitch my tent right next to the springs. It is called Ginnie springs, and it is on the Santa Fe river. Have fun!

Black water in Pensacola has some great places to camp, not to mention you can leave the camp site and go to one of the beach state parks like big lagoon. This time of year the parks in Florida are pretty empty so you can enjoy a nice campsight and have the facilities to yourself Good luck.
