Oh, yes, I do. Chosen By Grace has written me hate mail under several of his aliases.
I got hate mail for being nice to atheists and was told I consort with the enemy(this was not from Chosen).
I was told I am an evil woman and "not a real Christian."
I also get some hate mail from Muslims and a few atheists.

here is an interesting thing to contemplate ,with love and hate being the opposites of each other and both being part of the emotion caring. yes you have to care about someone to hate them. wouldn't it be a bigger insult to someone to just send them I DON'T GIVE A FLYING ....... OR CARE ABOUT YOU .mail. to me this would be far more damaging , because if you do not care, that person's mere existence i of no consequence of you. they don't matter , you don't care .

What is your definition of "hate mail"? If someone is writing to warn you of the consequences of not receiving Jesus as Lord and Savior, that would not be "hate mail." Rather, it would be a show of love.
However, if someone writes and tells you how terrible you are, or stupid, or something like that, it is totally uncalled for.

Yes, but just because they call themselves Christian does not mean that Christ would call them Christian.

My Gorgeous Friend,
I can not imagine anyone sending hate mail to Father K. He and I do not agree on a number of topics but I always admired him for his beliefs and his calm manner toward others. I get very little mail that is not just wonderful. I had a note from a young lady serving in our armed forces several days ago and she was upset that I did not believe in the Neanderthal Man/woman. She was really nasty and I can no longer even read or respond to her questions. This really hurt me. I care for her so much that I could not imagine such an answer affecting anyone in that way. I have a couple of people who claim to be Christians who do not agree with me and sometimes send me rather nasty comments. I generally do not try to respond to them because I do not want them to sin as a result of my response. I hope that I have not irritated too many people this weekend. It is wild what can happen in a short time period though, isn't it? YOU are very special to me and always will be. Have a wonderful New Years!
Thanks,
Eds
