There is no meaning. A meaning should have a purpose. So you tell me who or what is giving you that purpose. Humans are just here because we are born, no one plopped us down (according to some) and said "Go forth find meaning and have a purpose" Humans are born, find mates, mate, reproduce, and then die there is no purpose in that it is just an automatic thing that all humans do in various degrees. The only reason why we think we have a purpose is because of our brains, our thoughts. We are conditioned by are upbringing from the moment we are born to think that things have a purpose a meaning. Even if humans had the brain and intelligence of a gnat we would still do the things that all humans do be born, find a mate, mate, reproduce, and then die.
If life has meaning then what is the meaning of a plant? A plant just grows because of biological reasons, not because it has a meaning; a purpose.
Then again I am a theist so what do I know.

It is known that there are an infinite number of worlds, simply because there is an infinite amount of space for them. However, not every one of them is inhabited. Therefore, there must be a finite number of inhabited worlds. Any finite number divided by infinity is as near to nothing as makes no odds, so the average population of all the planets in the Universe can be said to be zero. From this it follows that the population of the whole Universe is also zero, and that any people you may meet from time to time are merely the products of a deranged imagination.
