If God wanted those people to believe, don't you think he would have shown some sign other than stories in the Bible?

Like go make all Atheists start to simultaneously see some sort of image of something that would make them believe? And for the ones that just think they hallucinated like suddenly ???

But don’t you think he would do something or say something to help people believe?
Like I tried talking to god, and he’s a good listener because he never answered me. It’s about like talking to your pillow and hoping it will talk back. God never helped some of my sick family members get better even after they prayed to him all night and day for a miracle that never came.

He has, and people choose not to believe anyway. The Blessed Virgin's appearances in Fatima, Garabandal, Lourdes, Guadalupe and Medjugorje being some. I'm very sorry for your loved ones who suffered, truly. I don't know why God didn't heal their bodies, indeed I've have experiences simillar to your own on that front. I suspect that when I die, should I go to Heaven, that either I will see the reason, or be too happy to care. I believe that some people would ignore ANY evidence put in front of them, or faced with evidence they can't ignore, still choose not to love and worship God out of pride.

Ultimately, the decision to believe in God is first, the realization that it is not contrary to logic to do so. Too many people confuse God's nature with God's existence. For example, since He does not answer calls for proof of His existence in the manner in which we ask, He doesn't exist. That proves nothing about the fact of His existence, just about His nature. With there being so much that is unknown to us (and likely never to be known since we weren't there to witness or document it) about life and the universe, God is AT LEAST as probable of an explanation as anything else.

After belief, the key to loving God is first the willingness to submit and believe that He is greater than you. That is the first step to trusting Him, which leads to everything else. I have no doubt of God's existence, I have no doubt of His love for us, and I have no doubt that what He has waiting for us will make anything and everything worth it.

God Bless you and your family.

God always answers your prayers by giving to you what's best for you. Everything that happens God allows and it was time for your relative to leave Earth.

God wants you to have faith and believe. If He jumped out in front of you then that would take away the faith part which He tells us is critical. God puts all sorts of miracles in front of you if you just look for them. He is ever present. He also gave us the Bible which seems like pretty good evidence that He is real (around 70% of what is stated in the bible has been proven to be factual). God usually does not speak in an audible voice. His answers and instructions can be found in the bible. He may not always answer your prayers in they way you want, but He is listening and will answer them the way He wants to. You must trust that He knows best and that he is on your side. If you love God with all of your heart and live your life for Him, everything else will just fall into place. If you are feeling confused turn to your bible and read the instructions Jesus gives you.
I hope this helps.

I am a Christian and struggle with my Faith; however, I do not struggle with Faith in God but in my Faith of people who teach God's word. Religion tends to be very judgemental and each religion feels they are the "right" religion and have all the answers. My personal belief is no religion has all the answers but religion is necessary in order to establish a relationship with God.

God created people to have free will. He did not want sheep who would just obey him and listen to his every command. Therefore, he is not going to "twist your arm" or send you an image to make you believe in him. You either accept him or you don't.

God "speaks" to people differently. I do not have the same convictions others do but I can honestly say God has always provided for me. My Grandfather died a year and a half ago even though we prayed for him to get better and he fought. Fortunately, for my family and I we had peace knowing that it was God's will for him to go. I am thankful for a series of events that occured and I was able to say goodbye to him. I will explain.

I live away from all of my family and friends. Two weeks before my Grandfather died I was fired from my job (my fault, I was a bank teller and did not put an appropriate hold on a check and the check came back bad and our customer did not make good with the funds). Once I was fired I decided to take the time to visit my family and friends. During this time my Grandfather's health was failing and he was admitted to the hospital. I am fortunate that I was able to spend the last two weeks of his life with him and be there for him the way he was always there for me.

For me, the miracle was I was given the opportunity to say good-bye to someone that meant so much to me and let him know I loved him.

Hope this helps you on your own spiritual journey. God bless!

Christianity breeds Atheism by preaching words they claim to be inspired and or written by the hand of God. It is a fact God is not and was not here in the sense of which the Bible declares. It is possible that God is a possibility but not a reality to which we could comprehend or relate to . It is also a possibility that the answers to life lay in life itself. In it's quiet ever changing creation. The possibilities of possibilities are truly endless. As they have only begun to be identified and assumed. Praying is essentially wishing and hoping. It is not wise to assume that should there be a God, we insult it by essentially giving up. The capabilities of the human mind are such for a reason. Prayer shadows and diminishes the ability to be truly thankful and able to expand that capability. It stops it completely.
Peace to you.

The question is, "IF God did show himself", would they still believe... probably not.

When Jesus was on earth he performed miracles, healed people, even raised the dead! But there were still people who didn't believe he was the Messiah! Why would today be any different?

Did you listen to what He had to say or did you just keep talking?

Its a hard pill to swallow that God doesn't do all we pray for.The things we suffer this side of heaven are only temporary,we have a choice to serve him despite our disappointments and the answers to our prayers a big fat no.Its all temporary, the things that go with a believer to heaven are only the things we have done for God.I have many prayers still not answered.Deaths I never wanted to happen, suffering I'm tired by,children that are sickly beyond what doctors have answers for.But I will continue to serve my God,though I be slayed still I will serve him.Better is one day in his house then a thousand elsewhere.Shalom
