Sure SbyG -
From where I came from, yes, the only one I strive to please is the Almighty God ~ God found me as a broken vessel, bound by the world and at the mercy of the results of my own doing, ... But when He finds you, He never leaves you in the condition He found you! And thank you Jesus for your redeeming Blood, saving Grace, and Loving MERCY upon my soul! How fit, throughout tremendous heartache and trials, that He saved me from myself, saving my husband at the same time, restoring the divine order of our family, and bringing us to a place in 2008 to minister and assist other married couples towards emotional and spiritual healing. We are forever grateful for His Love, for with it we know how to pass it on to each other, our children, and to others. What a wonderful, MIGHTY God we serve! Praise the Lord!

It was a backslide for 2007 spirituality due to sad experiences brought by the 1st quarter of 2006. Since then, no church obligations I've ever attended compared to my incomparable services from 1998 to 2005. Those years I served as layman, lector, and a lot of spiritual activities in our parish.
I left my country by the last quarter of 2005 for work. Since then I keep on searching for my own salvation which I thought is not allowed in the middle east. Fortunately, I found out that Christianity has freedom to exercise in this country, I am alone and keep on going to attend and hear the word of God.
Months later I helped a friend to bring here to share with him the best future we can have. But it was disastrous experienced that brought me to backslide with my relation to the Lord because of the pain shared to me by this friend.
Faith still there but trying to avoid a friend pushes me not to attend any religious activities and remain in my room during day off.
By the end of 2007, I realized, God has given me a lot of wisdom to face realities and challenges in life. i need to rekindle my love and relationship with God, And this year, I'll be on the right path.

The Lord Bless you & Keep you & your family. May His light shine through you even brighter this year.
The Lord is so awesome. Yes I am very happy with my spiritual growth this year but ofcourse there is always room for improvement. I want to grow even more in my knowledge of Jesus and to Love Him even more this year 2008. I'm expecting new beginnings this year.
About contributing to God's Kingdom is to continue to love my brothers & sisters in Christ. To help out wherever I can when help is needed. To do a better job in raising my children in the way of the Lord & His Word. That is what I know for sure so far. Then as the Lord leads and opens up doors I hope to follow & be obedient.

Yes, very much so. This was a really great year for growth for me. Every new years I pray for some specific things. Last year I prayed that God would bring my oldest daughter and I closer. I had a terrible year of health trials and surgeries and I didn't realize until the end of the year that God used my trials to bring my daughter and I closer. You know the old saying, "Be careful what you pray for." Just kidding. I will always trust however which way the Lord chooses to answer my prayers.
((((Hugs and love to you sis))))) Happy NY to you, too.

Yes, I'm very satisfied. God has used me to reach the lost this year more than ever in my life before. He's connected me with other women that struggle with many of the same issues I do, and has brought us all together to serve Him. I've been involved in Bible Studies, which has enriched my spiritual life in ways that I didn't even know were possible. God has strengthened my faith and trust in Him through personal trials more than ever before (i have a 9 month old son with vision problems). I pray that He continues to do so with all the trials my family faces. God has brought me to my knees in serving at my church, and taught me to volunteer for things and be selfless more and more. I pray he continues these things in teh coming year, and teaches me and strenthens me in all new ways that I never knew existed or possible.
In Christ

I feel that I have grown tremendously spiritually in the last three years. I have such a long way to go, but at least I am FINALLY on the path. I believe all roads that lead to Heaven are good. Thank God at least I am walking down one of them again. This year I want to help more people. I want to continue to try to master healing of animals, and help them in any way possible.

hi doc.
yes and no. I learned a lot through the classes i am taking through Faith Bible Institute. I love learning about God and His Word. But, i produced very little fruit.. Sure i witnessed, not nearly as much as the Holy Spirit convicted my heart to do. I have been saved three years, and my walk with Christ is more of a crawl...I am tired of being a "baby christian".
I still have the "me me me" going on. I still like throwing "pity parties", and i still havent fully surrended to the will of God.
But you know what, thank you Lord Jesus, for meeting me where i am at. His agape love for us is so amazing, not to mention His faithfulness to us. He still blesses us, even when we dont deserve it.
We have recently changed our church membership. The chuch we attended since our 2nd b-day, is so far away, that it was hard for us to serve and be in a small group.
This year I am going to quit having so many "pity parties".
I am going to quit letting satan get a "foothold". because "greater is He that is in me than he that is of this world." I am going to surrender my anxieties to the Lord, so I can be about His business. I want to shine for Christ.
My light was dim in 2007.
But that is okay, I know God has a plan, and He will use the time i spent "wandering in the desert", to strengthen me and deliver me. And even when its awkward, i am going to start
spreading the good news. I will SHINE FOR CHRIST, this year and for all the years i have left on this earth.
Keep me in your prayers, my sister.
Have a blessed New year.
