What I like about being Pagan:
1) Easygoing attitude
2) No proselytizing
3) No preaching
4) No dogma to shove down my throat
5) No need to "convert" anyone.
6) I can make my own rituals
7) I can do rituals/magick anytime I want, with the frequency I want.
8) No forced political stances by my religion.

We don't have to rely on someone else to go to "God" for us. We can do it ourselves.
We have the chance to educate those who would otherwise be ignorant of the truth.
No one has to hide their sexuality or belong to some right wing political group to be accepted. It's all come as you are.
It challenges us to seek the truth rather than "take it on faith".
We don't have to be something that we are not when we perform ritual.

That diety is with me. That nature is the central theme. That I have the option to worship as I please. That my beliefs are not engineered by a book or the religion of another. And that I and I alone am responsible for my actions. I have been Pagan for 25 years, and very glad I found this path of love, care, and respect for all life.

gods, plural. No one god is right for me from year to year, because I change, and need different things to evolve. I can't see how any single deity could work for more than one person... even if you're spiritually stagnant.

I like the relationship with the Deity(ies), the fact that I can concentrate on that and working with nature. I like the fact I can use my abilities to help others and protect when it is needed. I don't like the fact that if I bring it up that someone seems to think it means I need to be converted, or that someone thinks I enjoy the rude jokes at the expense of my dignity and beliefs and I do not like the fact my beliefs are put down as evil or Satan worship especially from those who will not take the time to learn about my beliefs before opening their mouths.

I love that it taught me perspective. I find that i'm a lot more tolerant and understanding of other people since becoming Pagan. I also love how amazingly everything in nature is balanced and the fact that i'm capable of a deep understanding of this.
I don't like that we still aren't taken seriously and finding a group in my area to join is difficult. That is improving though...

Hmmmm. I never really became Pagan because of what I liked.
I guess the best thing is direct interaction with my gods and the worst is people who know diddly about my religion telling me what I "really" believe.
