SCRAPING IS MUCH MORE EFFECTIVE THAN BRUSHING WHICH ONLY PUSHES THE BACTERIA ALL OVER THE TONGUE.
YOUR HEALTH WILL NOT BE THAT IMPROVED, BUT YOUR BREATH WILL IMPROVE.

Come to think of it; I starting brushing my tongue daily for the past 2 years and I have gotten sick much less. I don't know if it is correlated and I have never read a study on it, but it might have something to do with me getting sick less. I do know my breath is much, much better when I brush my tongue along with my teeth, gums and the roof of my mouth ...

Yes, You have particles from your food that lays in your mouth during the nights especially and by brushing your tongue often you are covering all sources of your mouth and getting these germs out. It also helps for bad breath.

I don't know about that, but if you change your toothbrush every three months you will get sick less often. Also, instead of having your toothbrush hang out with everyone else's, you should get your own plastic-travel-toothbrush holder to keep it in.
