Does anyone know the reason you are not supposed to eat "dipping dots" ice cream with a metal spoon?

it makes the spoon really cold and ur tongue can get frozen to it for a little while

It super cools the spoon and a frozen spoon can "burn" your tongue. Stick to plastic it is safer.
