My dentist said that since I removed the bottom tooth the top one will have to go since it doesn't have a place to rest. Is there anyone out there living happily with only top wisdom teeth?
Thanks :)

Unless the other tooth is infected, decayed, or the gum diseased at that site, there is NO reason to have it extracted. I am down to only 9 teeth now because there was always some dentist who gave me bad advice, even insisting on the extractions. Of those 9 teeth remaining, only 2 have an opposing tooth, so 7 don't. Yes, I can still chew my food, but some food needs so much chewing that it can be slow eating. So, my advice is: find a different dentist (or at least say "NO" to him/her/it.

Unless it starts causing a problem for you, don't worry about it - just leave it alone. :)

Not necessarily. Brush your teeth everytime you eat anything and before you go to sleep at night.
