My girlfriend left me yesterday and I've been a complete wreck ever since. She left me because i am so much younget than her. She made everything in my life better and she is the only one ever to do so. She means the world to me...and then some. What can i do to get her back

My girlfriend left me yesterday after about 4 months of seeing eachother. I know it doesnt seem like much but for us it was. She said it was the age difference because im 18 and shes in her 30s. Shes not stupid she just sees me as a person and not a number, or did anyway. I need to win her back

There is not much more to it than that. She says i was just showing my age too much. But there was added pressure from her family because her mom didnt approve and her dad sure wouldnt like that if she had told him

Well, since she took of on you I reckon it's up to her if she wants to come back. There isn't anything you can do at this point. I'm guessing though by how busted up about this you are that you were probably a tad bit to emotionally needy.

If your life was only better when she was in it, that's a lot of pressure for one person. You need to make your life better all on your own. Otherwise you would be so devastated and crazy she's gone.

All you can do it get over it and leave her alone in the process. No amount of crying, whining or begging will get her back.

I always look at life as things happen for a reason. And if things are truly meant to be between the two of you, then it'll happen. If not, then maybe she can't or doesn't want to handle the relationship and so you'd deserve someone better anyway. The only thing I can think of is try proving to her that the age difference doesn't matter in the long-run. Show her that, and maybe she'll change her mind. If she still doesn't want to get back with you, then just move on. Time'll heal your pain and eventually you'll find some other girl.

First let me send you my sympathy on your pain from this breakup. Unfortunately, you did not give enough or sufficient information to enable us to offer you some advice.Being much younger is not a good enough reason by itself.I don't mean to imply that in some cases age differences can not end a relationship, only that in your case, I sense there is more to it.However, if this is all there is to it, and she is sensitive to the age difference, then there is nothing you can do about it; it is out of your control. Unless her love for you (if she loves you)is greater than her aversion to the age thing, I suggest you move on with your life. Don't become a masochist or a door mat because you love someone, you deserve much better. I hope the New Year brings you great things.

To the guy that said "all girls are the same"..wow. Thats NOT true. Thats like saying all guys are the same. Is EVERY guy a cheater? NO. You really need to think about what you said.

I can understand how you would still be upset considering its only been one day. You need to relax thou. ONLY you can make your life better or worse. Eventually EVERY person has to learn to fix things by themselves. You have to rely on yourself and appreciate the things you already have. As for the age thing, some girls try dating younger guys than realise that its a big deal to them.

NEVER chase after a girl thou. I NEVER chase after guys. Its pointless.

If she was dumb enough to walk away be smart enough to let her go.

2. Bring her flowers, at her house, and tell her your full heart's intent on your love for her. How crushed you were without her.
