Girlfriend and I have been dating for 6 months and it seems that she has reached the cooling down phase of the relationship before I have. I'm still very much infactuated with her, I still enjoy talking to her as often as possible throughout the day, whether it be via phone or text. She has been spending more time with her friends and I'm ok with that. I guess my concern is that what causes someone to cool down. What causes them to not call as often or spend their free time with you as often? We haven't been fighting or arguing. There was no catalyst here other than time. We do love each other and when we're together it shows. Now that she has cooled down and things are still on fire with me, it makes me a bit paranoid and I find myself becoming afraid and wanting to sabatoge the relationship by ending it because I don't want to get hurt. I don't want to pressure her either. Anyone else have or had this problem?

After a while, it gets to the point where you two become comfortable and secure in your relationship. She soundsl ike she is there, but you just aren't yet.

The last thing you shoudl do is sabatoge the relationship by ending it. That's just stupid and immature, and you will regret it later.
