Under rated look at all the websites and even G4 tv has a serious bias towards everything brokebox360. How can you say a system is over rated when it's a system that has no public support not even from game stores that try to sell extended warranties on the 360...What's over rated is the Halo 3 game which takes 3 hours to beat and is redundant...halo 2 was far better..... But the cult following and blind followers who live and breath by whether or not xbox live is down which happens often and the blind following for the almighty 360 even with the serious hardware failures is what is over rated..

I don't think it's overrated but it depends a lot on your expectations and what you're comparing it too, or what kind of hype you pay attention to. It has an amazing array of networking and media features which really make it an amazing piece of hardware. The games are finally starting to roll out with some great titles over the last few months, and in the upcoming months. XBox 360 is also a great platform, but it's gone as far as it can go, whereas PS3 is just starting to reach it's potential. Do some research and check out all it's features for yourself.

No, not at all. I recently just got a ps3, it's much different than the ps2. It's almost like a computer. You can connect to the interenet wirelessly and add friends to your ps3. I love it.

No not really. it has good graphics and better features than the 360(INTERNET!) but what you should look at is what kind of games it plays. if you mean price wise, when it came out yes 600 was a lot to pay considering it didnt do your laundry, but now that its been out for a while and had a $100 price drop($200 if you know where to go) no its a good price

Yes and no. I say yes because even though it has a lot of power and gadgets, it does not use them to the fullest as the xbox 360 does. In reality, the ps3 should look a lot better than it showcases but most xbox 360 games I have played look a lot better the the ps3 editions. But, in the future, ps3 may one day take advantage of all if its technology. I have not seen many that have impressed me. Also, I feel that the xbox 360 has better games. Not to say ps3 does not, I just see more people happy with the xbox 360 and its variety.

It is pretty good, so it comes down to what you've heard about it =P But it's not better than X360 is some fundamental way, other than having more memory as a standard (though also being more expensive)...
But ps3 has a great engine, and will surely provide it's users with hours of fun... So, don't really think it's overrated, unless that is compared to x360, where it is overrated, as the two systems are pretty much equal =)
