Raised my ex-wifes daughter from the time she was born till she was almost 3. Still see her once or twice a year. Sometimes she calls me by my name sometimes by Dad. Went to her graduation party 2 summers ago. Went to her wedding last summer. Those were the 2 times I met her husband. Shes stopping over tonight. I have two Christmas cards for her, one for daughter, and one for daughter and "son". Which should I give her? Don't know him to call him "son", but think it might be rude to exclude him. What to do?

If you regard her as a daughter, then he would be a son-in-law! She would be delighted if you included him, and it would make him feel welcome.

Go with the "son" card, if they get mad about that, at least you won't feel bad....................

Go ahead and give her the daughter and son. You love her like a daughter and he's married to her, so while you don't know him like theat, you probably will get to know him like that in the future.

I think it'd be a nice gesture to include him. It sounds like you still have a good relationship with her and this would tell her that even though you aren't technically related, she still matters to you.
