I would like to find a DVD player that Upconverts to 720p/1080i that is a changer that ouputs the upconversion through Component. Please help! Thanks in advance

You cannot.

The up-converted video is only output through a HDMI jack so the copy protection features are in effect.

Hollywood is afraid of people using a up-converting DVD player with component/SVideo to pirate movies.

HOWEVER:

There are devices by iScan and Geffin that are called 'scalers'. They run $500-$15,000 but this is what people with high end systems used before we had HDTV. They will take component and up-convert it.

But - your TV already has up-conversion circuits built in. You would be spending $$$ for something your TV already does, and chances are the outboard box would only give you a slight improvement.
