Youve been watching Cody Banks too much. No government agency will hire persons under the legal age. It's actually against the law to do so. Those that uphold the law, fall under it as well. A 14 year old simply would not be able to handle the rigors of training.

Quite a few agencies do internships in order to build interest in young people. You might check that out. The Army and AF do the same thing (Marines and Navy probably do it as well, but I'm not familiar with them) with summer internships and such, but you're talking about jobs like data entry and clerical stuff. Still, it's an opportunity to meet people and see what the mission looks like from not-quite-the-inside as opposed to being a regular civilian. Otherwise, the youngest you can join up for any gov't service is 17 (with parent/guardian consent) in the military.

N O N E, In order to serve in the US Military, you have to be at least 17 years of age with your parents or guardian's consent and signature, 18 years of age without anyone's consent or signature. Sorry there are no military agencies that wiil accept anyone younger than 17 years of age.
Thank You for your interest.

You can enlist in the military at age 17 with the written permission of your parents or guardian. Below that age you can join Junior ROTC in your high school if it is offered. The Navy League of the United States offers the Naval Sea Cadet Program and the Marine Corps League has the "Devil Pup" program. You won't be doing any official military stuff, but you can get a small taste of what military life is like, plus do some valuable volunteer work in the homeland.

The closest I can think of is volunteering/interning at some sort of office that deals with CIA or FBI cases.
