Young man, enjoy your youth for it fades all too quickly.

You have a job right now and that job is to be the best student you can be, for yourself.

Nothing can replace the years you want to give up, though commendable, not a good Idea.

Thanks for considering the military and please do join up, but not until you finish HS.

Best of luck with the CIA, and again thanks

extremely some companies do internships with a view to construct pastime in babies. you may examine that out. the army and AF do the comparable element (Marines and military probable do it besides, yet i'm no longer conscious of them) with summer season internships and such, yet you're speaking approximately jobs like records get right of entry to and clerical stuff. nevertheless, it is an risk to fulfill people and see what the venture sounds like from no longer-extremely-the-interior as against being a known civilian. in any different case, the youngest you may meet up for any gov't provider is 17 (with verify/dad or mum consent) in the militia.

I'm not aware of any opportunities that are available to you at this age; however, comma pause. Google the CIA and see what you get...you might find an internship. Also, hit up your guidance counselor. Also, start looking at college, seems like forever but now is a good time to pick a major, start to consider different universities. The university I work at offers a semester in Dubai. For somebody who wanted to work at the CIA and majored in International studies and minored in Arabic, that semester in Dubai would be icing on the cake. I'm just saying.

If you want to join the CIA, I would suggest a Bach degree in computers and graduate high in your class. Foreign language skills would help.

The military generally accepts enlistees at age 18 (17-1/2 w/ paren't permission).

Other governmental agencies generally don't hire until age 21 (for the professional staff). It might be different for custodial services or something similar.

That being said, a number of agencies do have internships for college students - but that's not for full-time positions.
