Hey sister!
Wow the year is almost to a close.. It always leaves me feeling a little bit sad .. I dunno why. I just see the year 2007 going into eternity never to be again. Oh sister. I wanted Him to gain more of my heart this last year. Yet I know that I did open up to Him and allowed Him to make Home in some of the stubborn areas of my being. Its my prayer for all of us:)
I love You sis

For this new year it falls on the same day that we usually have prayer meeting from house to house. So all the brothers and sisters will come over to my house and we will have our meal together. Sort of like a pot luck. Then we'll enjoy some time singing and enjoying the Lord together. We'll usher the New year with our prayers going up to the Throne of Grace.

You and all the dear brothers that I have been blessed to meet will be in my heart.

May this year be one of more growth in the grace of the Lord Jesus and of givign Him the first place in all things.
Keep abiding sister Larina:)
Yours in Christ
sandy

EDIT
Lord Jesus Remember Seed and Cousin in a special way. Be with this cousin as she goes throught this very difficult time in her life. Be near and dear to her. COver her with Your Peaceful Presence dear Prince of Peace. Be with Seed's daddy as he goes to the hospital. We look to You on their behalf. Make a way for each and every one of them. Thank You that it matters to You concerning all of us.
Lord Jesus we Love YOU!
We pray in Your name with thanksgiving in our hearts.

As usual, we have a big dinner and party at our church tonight and it is always a blast. Great sermon, great performances, great food, great conversations but no one gets drunk and no fights break out. Just plain and simple fun. Tomorrow, I will limit myself to only 2 or less football games. But, since my wife and kids always come first, I will gladly (although very difficult) drop the games and do what they want to do.

Oh, about midnight i'll be on the phone to my cousin -- her husband died a couple of months ago. She is in and out of the hospital because she can't seem to stop slicing and dicing herself. Tonight i'll be telling her about my dad's going into the hospital today.

Happy New Year to all! Things turn out the way they are supposed to. Keeps me sane to believe that.
