Below, I provide links to the CIA Employment page and the NSA employment page.

Both include information about Internships / Student Opportunities.

I have a relative with one of the intel agencies and his / her position required a 4 year degree.

You bypass to college, get a level, get some paintings experience and then be conscious. the two have the varieties of degree's they seek for. i do no longer understand what the CIA needs as they are VERY distinctive from the FBI. The FBI likes: persons with a JD...Constitutional regulation is actual stable. Accounting computing gadget technology electric powered Engineers There are others yet it is merely off the ideas-blowing. of those I labored with there became a million that were a MP in the army...do no longer understand what his degree became in. yet another were a Memphis highway cop. Their Agent in can charge had a JD, they delivered in a electric powered Engineer from Quantico, there have been various others yet do no longer understand their college historic past...they have been all with the White Collar Crime Squad.

You have to be, as we said in the Navy, "A J squared away." which means you've been in NO trouble. CIA usually recruits from law enforcement-type agencies so get in good with the cops. If you apply successfully, they WILL send people to interview your friends and family to see if they can find ANYTHING that would disqualify you. They are sneaky, underhanded bastards. You won't make a lot of friends in the civilian world.

Not going to happen. best plan to start at an early age is this:

1. Keep your record clean, no arrests, no credit problems
2. Join the military at 18, get top secret military clearance.. background check will be very through. but worth it in the way of making a good paycheck. Once your out of the military youll have a lot of options with that clearance. CIA, FBI, any civilian contractor agency etc

you don't just start out working for the CIA. you need to try joining the FBI or police dept and move up from there. if the CIA wants you--they will contact you.
