help please? camera emergency.?

how do you get your camera to take pics in black and white? just any general direction would help me out please. and if you need a program on your computer to do it, is there anywhere i can download it on teh internet?

Download Picasa from google, it's free and it will do what you want. You could also try reading the manual for your camera, you will be amazed at the info they contain. Some cameras will do it in the camera, however it's hard to say if yours will as you don't tell us what it is.

You didn't state your camera model. I have a Canon Powershot, and the B/W option is located in the "My Colors" menu.
