use ways to keep her away that make you sound mature, and her totally off task.
like if she comes over to your workspace, and starts doting you, politely reply "im sorry, ___ but i'm really busy with my work right now. could we talk sometime else?"
or when she bothers you in the bathroom just say, "uhh, im a little pre occupied right now on the toilet...could i get back to you on that?"
say those in a tone like you are really violated and she will hopefully be a little embarrased by it.
otherwise, if the boss doesnt even like her, she'll be fired eventually...just hang in there!

It relies upon on the region. If the two at the instant are not required to speak to end their projects, and if the outcomes of one *not* ignoring the different are in all probability to be severe, then ignoring a co-worker is (of course) the extra suited decision. for example: if the homosexuals at my place of paintings had disregarded *me*, i would not have had a case of non-actual sexual harassment (which concluded in my desire, BTW). of course they could have disregarded me, and (of course) i might have not been compelled if that they had carried out so and that i might subsequently have been plenty happier if that they had carried out so (of direction, they have been and are of a very distinctive opinion, they having motives different than the astonishing overall performance of paintings obligations). So: it somewhat does rely on the region. In my occasion, whilst somebody only can not tension themselves to act in a professional way in the direction of a co-worker, that somebody **could** forget approximately touching directly to the co-worker. i'm advantageous that there are different place of work circumstances wherein ignoring a co-worker might easily be a smart decision. - Jim

Unfortunately, we all must get along at work to seem like we are team players. Don't make a big issue. Just don't engage in conversations with her that don't involve work related issues. If she starts getting personal, just find an excuse to leave the scene. If she's at your desk, make an excuse to make a business call. She'll get the hint.

Just be cordial, and if she is a narc just keep your conversations very generic. On a positive note, at least you know she is a Narc. There are the types that are back stabbers and they are the worse. You think they are your friends and you confide in them and then there is the knife. So at least you know were you stand. Again, just be cordial. If she says Hi, just say hi back and keep on walking. I hope this helps.

You're right ignore her.
She won't go away, but you don't have to be bothered by her either.
You could also tell her false truths, and let her spread the lies, and then tell everyone she's lying, but if you aren't clever about it, it could backfire on you.
I did that to someone, I told a messy gossip a lie, and everyone else knew the truth, so when she came around to tell her lies, everyone knew she was lying and refused to tell her anything else from this point on, because she was seen as a liar.

i think you mean ANNOYING coworker. Trust me, theres one of them in every workplace. Sometimes a few of them so be lucky for that. Block her out by confronting her when she jumps in your conversastion by saying "sorry this is private" or saying "um i was talking to him/her" and walk away. she will learn where her is place is

Keep doing your job well and try to ignore her as much as possible.
Be as unresponsive as possible to her questions. DON'T tell her anything you would not want everyone to know!
Or ask to be transferred to another department; or find another job.

Do you mean annoying coworker? Because that would make more sense than "ignoring" coworker.
