Yes, Read Eph. 4:11-17 It speaks of 5 different offices in the ministry, for what purpose, For the perfecting of the saints, & as of right now the saints is not perfect yet. I believe in all these offices today, even NT Apostles, & according to Isa. 52:8 they will see eye to eye on God's word, That is how perfection comes, by unity in the Bride

Yes I do. I believe that God is no respecter of persons as he says (See Acts 10:34) meaning that God is not prejudicial or favors some people over others. He loves all of his children.
In other words, that means if God spoke to prophets in the ancient days, he would do so again in this day and age as well.
Accordingly I believe that God has indeed called his prophets in this day and age and reveals his will to us through the prophets. A prophet leads and guides the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Yes
The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. That means that you have had a revelation from God that Jesus is the Christ, like unto Peter who declared that thou art the Christ, the Son of God. It is that spirit of revelation that qualifies as a prophet along with having received the priesthood authority from those that are authorized to ordain and minister therein.
I have received revelation in my life for my responsibilities and I have no doubt that the ordained leader of His Church receives revelation for His responsibilities, namely for the whole Church and indeed for the whole world. Each of us is entitled to receive revelation for our own lives and responsibilities.
The spirit realm is real and we can communicate with it. The Spirit speaks peace to our minds and comfort to our hearts when we are right. It speaks confusion and discomfort when we are wrong and then we know to rethink our request.
There are fifteen ordained and sustained prophets, seers and revelators in His Church today. The president of this group is Gordon B. Hinckley. Please turn to www.lds.org.

Yes, I believe that God loves us just as much as he loved his children in biblical times. So he continues to bless us with a modern day Prophet.

Yes, very much so. I do not believe that God has closed the "windows of heaven." I believe that we are in the 'last days' and we need a prophet now more than ever.

Signs of a true prophet:
-live a godly life(Matthew 7:15-20)
-be called to service by God(Isaiah 6:1-10;Jeremiah 1:5-10; Amos 7:14,15)
-speak and write in harmony with the Bible(Isaiah 8:19,20)
-predict events that will come true(Deuteronomy 18:20-22)
-will have visions(Numbers 12:6)
-they do not start new doctrines! They lead God's people to a deeper study of the scriptures. They protect God's people from deception and fanaticism.
Revelation 12:17 says that God's remnant church will have: the testimony of Christ. This means: the spirit of prophecy.
*Be careful with those who do miracles to proof that they are a prophet of God. Miracles proof only one thing, supernatural powers; and such powers may also come from the devil.

One definition of Prophet from http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/prophet is " a person who foretells or predicts what is to come". Same as a psychic. Under that definition, I definitely believe in prophets. I am one.

Yes, I believe that God loves His children just as much now as he did in the days of Moses and Abraham. I believe that he sends prophets to tell us of Jesus, of his love for us, and of how we can best live our lives in accrdance with God's love. I believe that because the world is constantly changing, and God is not, then we must have prophets in our time in order to properly apply God's wisdom in our lives. you can know a prophet by what they teach and by the witness of the Holy Spirit as he speaks.
